First Farmers Bank & Trust Hires Lebanon Branch Manager/Business Development Officer

Corey Kutz will serve First Farmers Bank & Trust’s newest branch in Lebanon, opening end of year.

First Farmers Bank & Trust announces the hiring of Corey Kutz as the community bank’s branch manager/business development officer for its new Boone County, Lebanon location that is expected to open at the end of 2024.

An experienced bank branch manager with over a decade of experience, Kutz joins the First Farmers Bank & Trust team after serving two years as the Lebanon market manager for State Bank. Prior to that role, Kutz was the branch manager for Huntington National Bank, a title he held for more than five years.

As branch manager/business development officer for First Farmers Bank & Trust, Kutz will oversee the operations of the newly opened Lebanon branch, while also managing resources and the new staff, pursuing new customers through outreach, maintaining goals, providing excellent customer service, supporting clients through their financial needs and much more.

“It’s an honor to welcome Corey Kutz to our Lebanon branch at First Farmers Bank & Trust,” said Tade Powell, Senior Vice President, Director of Communications & Public Relations. “As a trusted and dedicated member of the Lebanon community, Corey brings a wealth of knowledge to us not just in the financial sector, but in the overall needs of the city of Lebanon. He’s someone who knows Lebanon and its people well, and we are lucky to have him as a member of our team, leading the charge.”

Kutz is an advocate for community service and volunteerism serving as a Lebanon Rotarian, President of the Heart of Lebanon, Boone County Economic Development Corporation board treasurer, various Lebanon city boards and commissions, as well as president of the newly formed Lebanon FFA boosters.

The new First Farmers Bank & Trust Lebanon branch will be located inside of the Lebanon Gateway Shops complex at the intersection of State Road 32 and I-65. The full retail center totals nearly 25 acres and opened in 2021 with a variety of storefronts. The architect of the bank branch, K4 Architecture, is also the same architect designing the new First Farmers Bank & Trust branch opening in Carmel, Indiana later this year.

First Farmers Bank & Trust has been expanding rapidly over the past year. Overall in 2023, First Farmers saw continued asset growth as its assets surpassed the $3 billion mark for the first time.
