Who is eligible to access Card Controls?
FFBT customers with access to Digital Banking that have at least one active debit card are eligible to access Card Controls.
How is the card information loaded into Card Controls?
The first time a user accesses Card Controls, it will show a brief tutorial video while your debit card information is loaded. Debit cards are auto loaded, based off the tax ID and account number associated with the card in the card system and the digital banking profile.
What if my debit card doesn’t load properly into Card Controls?
You can manually add debit card if it does not automatically load into Card Controls. Manually adding a card requires the full card information to be verified (card #, expiration, address, and CVV). For additional security, a one-time verification code is also sent to the phone number or email on file for that card.
Can business debit cards be linked?
Yes, but business users will need to manually add their business card information and complete the manual verification steps (see above).
Are credit cards able to be managed through Card Controls?
No. Only FFBT debit cards are eligible to be managed through Card Controls.
Do users need two apps?
No. Card Controls are built directly into digital banking and our mobile app. No additional app is required, but the latest version of the mobile app is required.

Digital wallets are apps that store encrypted virtual versions of debit cards, allowing customers to make payments by tapping a connected device rather than using a physical card. Digital wallet payments are actually more secure than physical cards. Each transaction uses a unique, tokenized number instead of the actual card number, providing increased security and convenience.
